Hungah.....

Ojas has learnt to say Hungah...i dont even know how to spell it...he he but he is saying this and saying this all day long... we all have our own theories of what it means... but only he knows what it is ;-)

dont touch my cot

My nonu tonu is consistently holding his cot railing and getting up now... at times when he is not able to completely stand, he gets on his knees and then stands again after some time and he is trying to cruise too :) so we deiced that this is another milestone achieved and hence we need to lower his cot position so that he doesnt fall out of his cot while trying his antics... so hubby started doing the work on his cot while I sat with him playing on our bed and the minute he saw his dad messing with his cot... he started screaming and trying to run towards his cot... i had to control him hard and finally I took him out of the room as it was getting impossible to calm him inside the room... inspite of going outside he was constantly looking back towards the room and started screaming again after 5 mins... we had to finally out him the cot when only the mattress had been laid and the bumpers were not yet up and there came an instant luagh and smile :) and then he did it again tried to get up and banged his head right on the cot bars but the joy of getting his cot back was way more than the hurt I guess as he just kept playing after that...

cute isn't it? I bought this for him on his 7-month birthday and since then he has gone crazy about it....

Krishna

Ojas is putting his feet in his mouth from sometime now and yesterday his dadi said that he is lord krishna as he was the one who used to put his feet in his mouth.... :) no wonder the nannies he had till now were named meera and yashoda and the house keeping maid I have is named Yamuna :) :) :)

yesterday evening me, ojas and his massi were generally playing and suddenly his massi says that he will have to become mahatama gandhi in his school fancy dress, i was surprised and i asked her why and she said because he looks so cute nanga (without clothes) he he

Again...

my nonu tonu is fallen sick again... the diaper rash was just abut healing when the attack of loose stools has come once again, i think it is the same infections which didn't get fully healed cause as soon as the antibiotic has stopped the problem is back again... poor guy , get well soon my darling

No Sleep for me...

My nonu tounu as mentioned here is starting to learn how to stand up on his own and that is all that this boy wants to do these days :) He doesnt even want to sleep, from two days he hasnt slept a wink in the day.. gosh practicing new skills

This weekend was the first time I left Ojas at home in the night with my hubby alone as I had to go and stay in the hospital with my mother in law and i think more than anyone I was anxious :) I knew he would be fine and I think that is what was bothering me, i wanted him to miss me... though I left after he slept and came back just after he had got up... he did just fine of course....

PS: he is doing fine now apart from the diaper rash that he has got due to frequent cleaning and that too is getting better

the first sickness

Poor Nonu tonu had his first last week and it was such a terrible one, I was working from home on Friday and he was playing with his dadi and nanny... after sometime I just went there to play with him for 5 minutes and then get back to work and he felt really warm and when I checked his temperature it was about 101.4, i got so worried and immediately took him to his doctor, he said it might just be viral but lets do a urine test to rule out , UTI (there is an intersting story there, more about that later), so the medications started...fever still remained the same infact shot upto 102.2 and all... and starting saturday he started vomiting and tehen came loose motions... one point time on sunday we were so scared as he was not able to take anything inside due to vomitings and at the same time passing loose motions. the only thing that he was able to keep inside was electrol. He has become so unlike himself quite innocent boy, looking at him I couldn't control my tears. Monday we went to the doc again and poor guy had lost 250gms in 4 days because of all this, doc asked us to do a stool test for him and it came out he has a terrible stomach infection and he is on antibiotic now for 7 days... after the antibiotic has started he is feeling much better now

When I digged hard and tried to figure out how this could happen when I am so particular about cleaning everything - here comes the answer... there was no current in our house on thursday and hence the sterilizer was not working, it didnt strike his nanny and dadi that the bottles will not be sterilized and they gave him just boiled bottles........ one mistake the child suffers so much... poor guy
