Have been wanting to post this since one week but somehow tied up in so many things. Ojas had a baby's day out last sunday, we had taken him for the test of long drives to a resort 60kms from bangalore and he really enjoyed himself. Either slept or played with his rattler in the car seat during the drive and was happy playing and observing new things in his pram later. I would say truly our son, I hope this continues.
Seeing this we have become even more brave and are now taking a vacation to Chikmagalur coming weekend. Will post how he behaved later till then hope he enjoys himself just as we do :)

Phhhhhhhhht
Doing phhhhhhhhht and then making bubbles out of it seems to be the favorite passtime of Ojas these days, I just keep changing his clothes because of dropping saliva :)
I am sure his massi Isha would be really happy that he has learnt it on his own as she was saying that this will be the first thing I will teach him

My two footer
Yesterday we went for routine checkup and vaccinations for Ojas and came back really happy... our little one is growing really well :) He has become 61cms and 6.06kg and has jumped to 50 percentile in the height and 75 percentile in the weight as compared to birth 5 percentile in both... Its really nice and gives immense pleasure to see him grow like this.
And after all someone complimented us for that, his doc said that u are doing a good job of bringing him up he he that too made me happy it is hard work indeed i am sure all fellow mama bloggers will agree
Touch wood I hope he keeps growing like this forever

Little Birdie
Talking to this birdie is Ojas's favorite timepass, he would go on for 10-15 minutes doing hoon ahaan and trying to converse with the birdie, ignoring all of us for it only to get irritated and then scream for not getting response. I guess its human nature right from infancy to ignore what u have and trying and get what u cant

Conversations
Since yesterday my darling is having proper conversations in his language, if u coo at him he coos back at u and then again and then again :) its so fun....
First Blow from the harsh world.........
Yesterday myself, Naren and Ojas went shopping to Baby Shop for some of Ojas's essentials like diapers etc. Ojas got a little hungry and Naren sat on a sofa and was feeding him from the bottle when one curious looking 2-year old boy came and stood over watching Ojas, naren smiled at him thinking he is one of thse who get fascinated by little kids and then suddenly out of the blue he slapped my little one on his cheeks and so hard the bottle came out of his mouth. What had my poor little child done to him to get a thrashing but then I guess this is a harsh world but for heavens sake my son is just 2.5months old.... In an instant reaction Naren pushed that guy back and a little hard may be he shouldnt have done it or may be he should have.... but if u think from the perspective of a new father I guess his rection was totally justified. He is still feeling guilty that he couldnt protect his son.... and both of us have become paranoids now, whenever we see any small kid around him we get extra alert and dont let the kid anywhere near him. I guess it will take some time for us to recover from the shock. Ojas on the other hand has recovered faster, for one day he refused to take the bottle at all I guess it reminded him of the blow but he is fine now... we still have to recover :)
But I am still wondering what made that kid hit such a small tiny infant? Was it jealousy or was it something else....
